When I just refreshed my page here on the gardenhelper I got this message in bright red!!! This website has been reported as unsafe www.agardenersforum.com We recommend that you do not continue to this website. Go to my home page instead you have picked up malware from somewhere on the internet and it is trying to get you to click a link that will REALLY mess your computer up. This happened to me a few months ago (on photobucket at the time) and I clicked the link because I couldn't get the box to go away. I ended up having to take my computer to Jeremy to fix it...it was full of way bad stuff. You need to do a malware scan, adaware scan, total virus scan immediately. Whatever is in your computer did not come from his site...it was already there.

Lynne: Did you get a new/different operating system-or internet security program on your computer? I know that Vista is constantly asking me if I want to be where I am and "do you know the web site that you are trying to access?" (my sister thought she was on one of her anti-virus sites & she was in fact NOT--(luckily she caught on in enough time to download the procedure to eliminate the false site))--Apparently I would be inundated with all of the questions & blocked sites, but my girls have turned off many of the programs that would be hampering my use of the computer. I guess now, though, I have to be more wary. PS: OH MY, that site we looked at last night, Lynne----I too am running a scan today...Thanks Cindy Sheri, here ya go--from Wikipedia:In the field of computer security, phishing is the criminally fraudulent process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. Communications purporting to be from popular social web sites, auction sites, online payment processors or IT administrators are commonly used to lure the unsuspecting public. Phishing is typically carried out by e-mail or instant messaging,[1] and it often directs users to enter details at a fake website whose look and feel are almost identical to the legitimate one.

In the case of that happening. I hit the 'control' 'alt' and 'delete' button at all the same time, your task manager will come up automatically and you can delete the page that won't go away that way.

I got that same red sign on another (religious) site I visit often which I know for sure is very safe -- like this one. But after a while on that site there also started to be a message from Google right in the red sign which said that after 90 days, Google had not detected a problem with the site at all.
Apparently, malicious people can accuse a site of being a threat when it is not.

But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Well I ran all my scans tonight and the only things that came up were cookies as usual. No malware or viruses, and this was the only time I have ever seen that message, so it's rather odd. Hopefully it will only be a one time deal and all will be well in cyberspace!

I just saw this and immediately went and checked with Google (because they KNOW!) Malware: Google has not detected any malware on this site.
