Guess it's time to start using this one now huh? Our weather the last couple days really can't make up its mind. It's rainy, then just windy and cloudy, then blue skies and sunshine, then gray clouds and more rain. It's really hard to plan to do anything outdoors if it keeps changing every 20 minutes. Oh well, good thing I don't have anything planned.

Hi Cheryl,, I've been keeping up with your running,, Wellllllll actually I'm far behind,, But I walk a lot more now,, and a little further each day Does that count??????

Of course it counts! When I first started running, I was walking more than I was running. Besides, I really run, it's more of a fast walk with a hop that is lately starting to turn into a real jog. I didn't start doing any kind of exercise until almost 4 months after I quit smoking so you're better than me.

I got home a little late tonight. We've had dinner, homework and shower is over and Maxi is in bed. I think I am finally done for the day.

I spent some time reading to catch up with you all. It is good to see everyone on.

Diane, thanks for letting me know that you commented. Apparently I didn't have it set up to email me when I received comments so I had no idea. It's all fixed now.

I read through the blog also, Cheryl, but I didn't see how Diane said she could follow you through gmail?

Merme there is a place there that says "Follow this blog" or something like that click on that

At the top left of the page there should be a little white box that says follow. Click on that and another box will open. Click where it says google and it'll have you sign in to your google account. Hope that helps and thanks both of you for reading. I didn't actually think anyone was reading it. I just need to talk about it and get it out somewhere. I don't know any others runners. I have it set up to not take anonymous comments because of something that happened with the wedding blog I used to have.

I wasted a huge amount of time last night trying to download software so I could use a template to make the flyer for Maxi. After all of that, it didn't work! I never even got to the template part as there were so many other things the program kept saying I needed first.

Today I am going to ask my friend Angel to show me how to use the powerpoint I already have.

Today I'm going to town to have my prosthesis adjusted so my knee can heal better. The nurse is coming 3x a week but I want it all over with.

Maxi woke up in a silly mood today, cracking jokes and being funny -- all before 7 AM.

Sorry I got cut off last night Carol..DH wanted the computer for just a minute which turned into an hour.

I use 'Microsoft Office Word' Merme, I had the computer tech install it when I had my computer serviced. He only charges $6 to install each different program. I am still learning how to use it but am catching on quick

I woke up this morning feeling good..about time. Honestly I think I might be having trouble because of poor sleep and no sun.

Just a question..have any of you ever made dips with the tubs of cream cheese and not the blocks? The tubs were on sale half price so I picked them up...nothing is being baked or cooked so it should substitute well..hopefully.

Any idea if it'll be just as good?

Yes, feeling a lot better today. Woke up full of energy..although I still have to call Monday for an appointment..not taking any chances.

Yes, you need to get in to be seen! But still, it must be nice to have an okay day after all this while of not feeling your best.

I ran out of coffee yesterday and forgot to get more. Now I can't wait for my girl to arrive and run to the store! Mornings without coffee leave Merme not very pretty.

Good morning. It sure does get busy around here as the weather warms.

Afternoon all. I mopped myself into a corner

I had to go up to Portland this morning. It was sunny and warm here and I dressed lightly, leaving my hoodie at home. When we got to Portland, it was icy cold and the wind was roaring! I froze myself silly even just dashing indoors.

Now I'm having trouble warming up!

So now I have a pot of chicken & sausage bubbling on the stove and the dryer running. This place should warm up soon!

Hi all,
I just got back from driving Nicoli to school... Nana can drive again! Yay! and I officially don't have to wear glasses to drive- amazing... it is so nice to be able to get back to normal again-.. I am having bifocals made- transitions so I won't have to have back up sunglasses .. but really only will need them for reading or close work... distance vision is fine...
Carrie is sick today- she got what the boys had- agravatted her asthsma and she should go to the doc... but she is stubborn..
Well got to run the vacuum and get laundry started ,, it's cold , rainy and it may snow today so it's going to be and inside day for the boys to,, we are keeping them the next few nights cause Jon is going out of town for work.. will let Carrie get some rest too.

Nana, I am glad you can drive again and that you are healing up so well. I love hearing about your busy life with your kids and grands.
I bought a mess of solar lights and have been installing them in different places earmarked for them today. They have also been charging all day so I should be able to turn them on this evening and just enjoy.

Gee Nana Sherri I'm so glad you can see well again. Sorry Carrie is sick today. Man dear, you are going to have your hands full w/ the boys over for so long if the weather is too yuckky to play outside!

I sure wish my place would warm up.

I had internet problems today--it seems that EVERY time my provider either does something like an upgrade OR when there is any small issue, after they get everything repaired, I have troubles.

If I understand what it is that you bought, the cream cheese in the tub just has whipped air in it,--so if you are not baking it should be fine and yes be just as good as far as flavor. Just be careful about any liquids that you mat be adding. You may need less.

it is like using whipped margarine for a recipe---if you melt both whipped & regular fat butter/margarine there will be more liquid in the regular melted than the reduced fat or whipped kind, so if you bake with it the balan ce will be off. Just making dips, should be fine.

Nana, yay for seeing and driving! Tina, I've thought about putting out some solar lights to light our walkway at night. Have you seen them lit up yet? Junie, that's frustrating about your internet. I have to call my internet company tomorrow. My promotion is ending and they're raising my bill almost $30 extra per month. Looks like we won't be going to court tomorrow, long story but it should turn out to be a good thing. I haven't run all week and I'm going nuts! Well, more nuts than I already was. Right now I'm just watching the clock tick away the minutes until it's time to go home.

and thanks--yes it is frustrating but only because really it is whatever they are doing. The one good thing i s they have yet to chagrge me for the new modem that I had to have because they upgraded their system. I guess some people just say oh well, but I complained, & so I did not get charged.

I do not know if I should be sorry or happy that you are not going to court tomorrow, but just know that you and your family are in my prayers.
