Below is a few of the "green things" in my one flower bed that I am not sure of. Some help identifying them as a flower or weed would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I'm not sure but your mystery plant #2 looks like a weed that I get in my garden. It comes back every year and spreads so I treat it like a weed and pull it out.

2 and 3 looks like weeds #1 I'm not sure

Yes, it looks like my fireweed which can bloom red, pink or white. It is some nasty stuff to get rid of once it begins to seed.

ok ladies thanks much---I will get rid of #2 & # 3. I was thinking #2 was a weed. but it was so big I wanted to check with someone first. I will leave # 1 alone until/if it blooms. Then we shall see...

Hey, every flower is really a weed to some one else  Sometimes I see people post pics of things that are just a common nuisance here...and I silently think...I can't believe someone really bought that.  Then I'm sure they do the same for me

Oh, Junie . . . the only thing I'd suggest is to segregate it from the other plants. If you're anything like me, you won't have the heart to throw it out. It looks too nice to be a weed, but it probably is - like the wild mustard garlic with the cute little white flowers. One of the park counsellors lives here and he's always on at me to get rid of those and I just won't do it - they make such nice fill. But we mustn't allow the wild ones to live with our cultivated plants, must we? Ha ha! (Speaking of wild ones - Skitter (our cat) made friends with a baby raccoon last night - the poor little thing's been abandoned, I think - it's about 1/3 the size of Skitter. I had to get between the two animals so the cat wouldn't jump on it . . . silly me . . . I'm fully expecting to hear a little squeak squeak from outside the window. I'm just hoping we haven't been 'adopted')

Oh Carly - too cute about skitter! the first plant/ weed, Carol looks like something I had in my garden a while back. It looked like a weed to me, but when I got ready to pull it up a couple of lady bugs were on it so I let it be for a while. sorry - no real help.

Carly, too cute about Skitter. is the baby Racoon still around??? ladies I decided to take out plant # 3. I just could not remove #1 & #2. Not yet anyway.
