It's been a long time since I have been on here. Alot has been going on my personal life. My husband walked out on our marriage of 15 years back in August. It came as a complete surprise to me and my 13 year old daughter. It has been a long, hard road. Not to say I am over it yet, but at least I am able to get up and do things. All I did was sit and cry for the longest time. Anyway, I hope I am not sharing 'too much'.. just wanted to let you all know I have missed you and am looking forward to getting back in the swing of things! And no better time.. spring!

Jennifer! There you are! The other day I was copying your address from my old Rolodex to my new one & thought "gee, I wonder if she is still at this address because I haven't seen her in so long!" And here you are! I am sorry for the circumstances that kept you from us, my friend. Visit with us often... we can help you stay strong. Notice I didn't promise anything about "stay sane"?

But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Thank you so much!! All of you! You have no idea how much it means to me to know you care. I am probably not going to be doing much, if any gardening this year. My budget is extremely tight.. and I haven't had a whole lot of motivation. My flower beds are full of weeds. =/ My court date is a week from today.. the 10th. I am assuming everything will be final then, but I am not sure. I need inspiration and motivation... any suggestions?

My suggestion is to go out and get your hands in the dirt, it doesn't solve life's problems but as the quote states.....
There can be no other occupation like gardening in which, if you were to creep up behind someone at their work, you would find them smiling. ~Mirabel Osler

Well hello there! Not sure if you remember me or night, my visits are sporadic sometimes. Sorry to hear about what happened but I'm glad that you're getting through it. We really do care around here, we're not just gardeners, we're real people with real hearts. Hope things continue to improve for you!

Thanks Tamara and Chermoni, (and yes, I do remember you!)
I appreciate the support so much! It has been hard, and still is... I am struggling with depression, my house is a wreck... a reflection of my life I feel. I feel discouraged and defeated most days. I have been trying to find a job, and it is just near impossible when no one is hiring. I am not in the greatest of shape physically so I kind of have to take that into consideration. I am trying to work on that though.. being more careful about what I eat and trying to psych myself into going out and getting some exercise. I know it will come in time, but I am not a patient person. lol
