Well I dug up my dead plants, I have one plant left. When I dug them up this is what I found, some small potatoes. I guess I was doing something right but don't know what I did wrong. So I will try again when I find some more seed potatoes. They are all small! Here is what the plants looked like. ![[Linked Image]](http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz109/dstacyh/Garden/photo1.jpg)

Darren Where I come from we call those little beauties "buterballs" and are just perfect for boiling and popping in your mouth. I would be happy your harvest those go for a premium at the Farmers Market. I put some butterballs in my garden as well as the regular spuds

Well my first thought is potato "blight" without more info i would lean in the fungus direction for sure. did you use a certified seed? "Certified" seed potatoes are tested for disease this will increase your chances of success. as the plants grow of course you need to hill them up to allow the plant to grow up out of the damp soil and allow the tubers to set deeper in the ground. Add living in Hawaii, your in a perfect location for all sorts of fungus to grow on and attack plants. I would recommend the use of a good fungicide, mulching under the plants, and perhaps even using a drip irrigation system to help keep the leaves dry and reduce any fungus growth. I hope this helps.
