I started these from seeds a week ago. Today is the 12th of May 2010.

When should I transplant them? Do i just cut the seed case and plant the entire thing?

those are some nice looking carrots. I would go ahead and plant them as soon as the danger of frost in your area has passed. As you probably already know, the carrot has one primary root so the roots wont hold the soil together much when you do put them out so I would go ahead and cut those peat pots into strips lengthwise, cut the bottom off and plant them pot and all right into your garden. The carrots will do fine and the pots will decompose adding to your soil for the future.

good luck, and keep us posted

I thin mine out to around two inches apart.
