I had the larger batface plant last year,, It was a dark purple almost black color,, I haven't seen any in the nurserys so far this year,  I believe I like the smaller, more colorful ones (like in your link first pictures )

Great idea, Bill--great pictures---BUT I have a question. the first picture was listed as below: Cuphea ignea Cigarette Plant (2 1/2-3 feet tall, 3 foot spread) That is an exceptionally different flower--but-- I want to know what the PINK flower with it is. I love it and would like to have it in my garden.
