I thought that too, actually have it titled that in my online photo album, but someone told me it's an invasive weed that will reseed and take over my garden. I had more and pulled them up and then rethought it since yellow is my favorite color and it's so pretty.

and there in lies the problem. last uear I bought some pink evening Primrose. It was beautiful--but it soon began to take over the garden. After reading up on it, I pulled it all up. last year was fine, so I thought I had gotten it all. Well, this spring it was all over in odd places in my 4 ft by 14 ft bed.

so I once again had to pull up some. and after all "what is a weed to one is a flower to another".
just keep an eye on it, & remove what you do not want.

I guess if there's a big empty area that needs filling then primrose is a good thing. I don't want it taking over though. I hate to pull up anything yellow boohoo

I like that stuff in the outlying areas. But it is nasty when it takes over a landscaped area. They are very pretty flowers. unfortunately they do well even here in the desert-y places.

leave it there, Sheri--just keep it "pruned back".
I do that with several of my flowers. Just pull out the 'plants' that get past where you want it.
