We had a heavy frost this morning..and I seen people planting flowers yesterday, yikes. We get a few nice days of 70*F weather and people jump to quick. Wondering if anyone has some fun planned for today?

How odd that ginger makes you sick, Tam, as ginger is the #1 natural remedy for a sick tummy! Poor girl.

I was sick to my stomach yesterday morning and couldn't eat a bite. Couldn't do much of anything. I finally ate at dinner time and the queasiness came back. But today I am at the top of my game. Go figure!
I have so much to do this morning before leaving for dialysis. These days are just getting busier and busier.

Well, I've got the diaper cake centerpiece and all the tissue flowers finished. Time for a few minutes break than on to the candy dish decorating(DD just had to have a candy buffet  )...seems there's more decorating for this shower than for my own wedding One of my sis-in-laws just picked up and even paid for the trays of strawberries for me

I've made so many diaper cakes..I've lost count. They do add some nice color to the showers I find..DD wanted big daisies on it...very colorful.

Good morning! Sounds like you're making good progress on the decorations Tamara. I've got my coffee and am thinking about what I need to do today. We're trying to get Joey a camera today but of course the one he wants isn't in any stores. We'd have to order it online and need it by Wednesday morning. Picky kids. We could buy it today if only he wanted a different color. He is paying for it with his own money so I guess he's allowed to be picky. I need to start on laundry in the not too distant future and Aros will probably start getting hungry soon.

Just popping in to ask Tamara if she would please take pictures of all the lovely decorations she is making? The first time I ever saw a diaper cake was when a friend brought one to me in the hospital when my second child was born.

I had a nice nap yesterday---went to sleep a bit before 4 & got up at 5--bad news?? I was up until almost 2am  so today drag as I might I will NOT be taking one, no matter how much I want to do so.

Hi all,
I hope all your special days go well... you guys are working so hard on them... wish I could be there too...can't wait for the pics...
We had a scare with my sons twins- they got a virus... JR ended up in the hospital for almost a week.. was very sick but is better now and Dylan got sick but not nearly as bad- was hard on the parents though... scary ... sure glad they are better now.
My cough just won't go away... keeps hanging around...the weather has finall gotten better so hoping that helps... we did get our tree out of the backyard... they did a really good job and took all the debris with them... now we can work on the deck... and make a nice place to keep the bbq grill... want to find a new table too - we need more room, family is getting to big for the one we have...

Oh what a very long day its been. I am glad we are at rest tonight as tomorrow will be terribly busy. I have much to do before the Confirmation & party on Sunday. I'm cold and tired & I'm thinking of adding some Black Velvet to a cup of Red rose and get busy crocheting!
