I bought it yesterday - it didn't have a tag. The people who work in Canadian Tire's garden centre don't always know what things are.

Yes, it is a begonia, but I don't remember the name. I bought one just like it at the garden center that I frequent. It really is pretty.

is it a tuberous begonia?

So, now I know - begonia likes some shade, I know that. I've put it at the end of my table garden, where the sun isn't blasting on it in the morning. It could do with even more shade, I suppose, but I don't have it there.

I'd have to put it in the ground, out on the lot, but Jeff is always complaining when I buy stuff for the lot and not for our table.

I'll wait till I can take a cutting from it, then put it on the lot, under a tree, maybe.
