I've heard that using banana peels as a fertilizer can be beneficial to things like rose bushes. I was wondering if they would work for my tomato plants as well? It sounds like a good idea, it's free, and I really want to try it. I'm concerned though. I don't want to do anything to hurt the plant. It's doing so well all by it's lonesome! So should I go for it or stick to the rose bush?
