Hi, so I have several Mammoth Melting Sugar Snow Peas growing on my fence and I wanted to grown some morning glories next to them as that they both climb but I was thinking of adding another bean plant next to it, instead. Is that possible or will they cross pollinate?

'Scarlet runner' beans are a good choice, they climb high and look pretty with their red flowers.

How do they taste? Also I remember reading online they can be poisonous yet edible. How does that work out?

Thanks.

Well they taste good, cooked when small but yes they are poisonous if eaten raw....Scarlet and other runner beans should be thoroughly cooked before eaten due to the presence of 'lectin phytohemagglutinin', it's a chemical that causes red blood cells to clump together
