This morning my DH came & told me my oriloes are back.---They prefer my eat my Hummingbird food---so I have a few flowers taken off of 1 feeder so they can eat easily---I am so pleased...(although they are a few days late this year)

Ooh, can't wait for pics!

well, the Orioles have been back every day several times a day since they first came back for the year.
Sunday was especially nice because my family got to see them as well.

I tried to take a picture for you, Cheryl, but my glass sliding doors have heat control window film on them and it acts almost like a mirror. I could use my kitchen window BUT it has a screen in the bottom (on the outside) and it is not removable. so unless I can get them to come while I sit out on my deck no photos for me. But we will try...

I put out the hummingbird feeders May the 6th this year.

And the Orioles came back the 10th.

male & female alike---I will be vigilent until I get a photo this year, I promise

so many Oriloes are comong around--quite often 2 at a time.

I try & try to get a picture, but I need a better camera so I could sit outside & zoom in---
But I tried that Saturday night. but I was sitting too far away---
when I went any closer they would fly away.
I will keep trying though

I don't get Orioles in my yard. I have to drive a couple of miles to see them.

I have no idea why I am so lucky, when I lived 2 miles down the road, I never saw even 1. But I must say, I am one happy girl.
