im gonna make a new dish garden but was wondering about the plants i buy. when i go to plant them should i keep them in the soil it came with or wash off the dirt n just plants the roots in the new soil?

If they are healthy, keep the current rootball with soil intact except for loosening up any outer tangled roots to grow into the new soil surrounding.
