Hi, I actually go by meg, I am retired and have COPD and MS.. they keep me at home a lot so I have decided to do a bit of gardening, aside from house plants I have not done a lot in this area. I have started small and may keep it small for now...I have a deck that is easy for me to use. My husband does his vegetable gardening outside but it isnt easy for me to get to.

I live in Northern California, in Lake County. I will save you too much reading, I tend to write too much ....and talk too much.

Hi Meg..I'm new to this site and I also have COPD. My left lung was removed June 2005 and in 2008 had to start using oxygen. I love my garden but can't do as much as I used to.
Going out this week to see how much I can do. Have a few perennials I want to plant. Plus one of my hydrangeas that is supposed to have pink flowers is not the color it should be. I think I need something alkaline to make it pinker.
