I bought a variegated Ficus tree about ten years ago from a plant nursery. The name on the tag read Snowball Ficus. The leaves of the tree were pink, white, and green. The tree died six years ago during a move across country. I have been looking ever since for the same kind of Ficus. Does anyone know what the true name of this Ficus is, or a nursery that sells this variegated type?

I greatly appreciate any or all help!

Thanks!
Layla

The "Doescheri Ficus" and "Tricolor Ficus" has pink in it...not sure where you can get it though, but once you have the right name..some nurseries can order it for you.

Just do a Google image search with this name to see it it's the right one.

Thanks for the feedback. However, I checked both species out and they resemble a rubber tree. The tree I owned looked just like a ficus with small mainly green leaves with pink and cream on them.

I think its called a rainbow ficus or profit ficus.

A nursery or two in your area may be able to get it for you :) And if they order it and its the wrong thing, they will always try again!

Debbie
