I like to keep an eye out for interesting or humorous names of businesses. Some people get really creative.

My favorite, the actual name of a beauty salon in my town, a higher end place truly called "Curl Up & Dye".

haha

Yesterday while I was reading the tourist guide for Washington, I saw the name of a Chinese restaurant:

Wok And Roll.

I nearly fell out of my dialysis chair laughing.

Ok, so maybe I am easily amused.

But what about you?

What are some of the interesting/funny names of businesses you have seen?

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

We used to have a place called Tic Tac Pho. Unfortunately they were one of many victims to an arsonist we had in that area about a year ago.

Mine is my family's name for me since I was 2 years old and said it myself. For those who wanna know, it is pronounced "Mare-me" like you would say the word for a female horse and add a "me" to the end. What can I say? why My family pronounces it with an A and spells it with an E. Go figure!

*at 2, I couldn't say "mary-ellen" so I said "mare" and pointed to myself saying "me"... hence the name 51 years later*

Police Doughnuts: To Protect and Serve Doughnuts

outside the shop is a van painted blick and white with the store's logo placed where the police department's emblem/name would be.

My screen name is just the first four letters of my first and middle name. Not terribly creative but I like it. There's a little italian restaurant there called Olive You. Kind of cute. The one that has cracked me up for years is a nuts and bolts shop called Tacoma Screw.

There was a show on Date Line or somewhere like that once about a church somewhere in GA (I think) called Hookers Church of Christ. The church was on Hooker Street.
