Anyone know if I can freeze the extra kidney beans from a can? I bought 6pound can an only needs a third for chile. can they be froze for future use?

I freeze mine, but I puree them also. I like chili but can't stand the biting into the bean, it always grossed me out so I puree them fine. I know I'm weird.

mmmm home made bean is sooooo good but it takes forever to make. I will post the recipe in the proper forum. If you cant tell I like to cook
