Whew all done, the holes and dips are all filled in, that was a work out.

Nice pics Marica, just a little reminder though, we usually don't post pics in coffeehouse because it uses up too much bandwidth space..well I'm pretty sure that's the reason I was told to stop it haha sometimes i forget and slip one in.

You should open up a topic in members gallery and show us your new place thumbup and no fair, I see parquet floors, I love those floors so much and can't find any here.

Now to figure out what to do with those good cedar rails(the top ones) that were left.

I did not know that, Tamara. Thanks & sorry.

I would love a nap. But there are biscuits. (Yeah, I know. I said that two hours ago.)

back in from my errands---wow it is hot outside!!
my computer says it is only 91 but I beg to differ.

I bought some new sloar lights for my front walk--now it is too hot for me to put them in----perhaps some evening it will be better outside.

Marica, you don't have to be sorry kissie

lol biscuits...I still haven't made the bread I was supposed to 3 days ago.

Hot outside here also Carol, yay..new lights, I have none of those..I should get some, some day..especially since they sell them quite cheaply here.

I'm all showered and clean again..the only thing you could see shining on me earlier was the whites of my eyes haha

I think the pictures are because these coffee houses go so fast that people were complaining that their pictures disappeared. Took it pretty personally that they were deleted too fast. So pictures are better in other areas for longevity. I have snuck in a picture or two that I didn't mind if it didn't last long.

Makes sense.

Biscuits turned out well but I rolled them out too thin. I later realized it should have been 1" not 1/2". So we have twice as many! Ha!!

I have some of those lights & really like them. They're a nice touch. I think a couple need new batteries, though. I'll have to look into that.

Man, I shudder to think of the electric bill. A/C.

Off to pick up John and so on.

Carry on!

I have a small walk in front of the house that I have 4 solar lights along.

well 2 of them do not work now, so I thought to change all of them & find a new home for the other 2.

Merme, I've tried the almond milk and didn't care for it. Rice milk is okay but I really like the coconut milk. I don't really drink much other than water and my morning coffee. Sometimes I have tea but I usually just use the milk to put in things and have cereal.

Marica, I've only run 6 miles once. So far. I just started my 3rd week of 12 of half marathon training.

The girls had their 8th grade graduation tonight. It was a lot of fun. I'll post a separate post with a link to the pictures. Tomorrow is Joey's 5th grade graduation ceremony so there will be more pics tomorrow night. I need to get to bed soon, see you all later, unless I get when your sleeping again.

Morning all, sure is foggy out, thick as soup.

I have some more yard work today..moving cedar logs and such. My yard looks strange now without the rails...but I shall win over the ants nests. thumbup

Cheryl, those little school graduations are as fancy as the final one. A close family friend has a DD that graduated from grade 8 this week, the girls had fancy dresses like what DD wore to her Grade 12 prom. I was shocked.

I so dislike equipment that won't start easily. My arm ends up with an deep ache. I have a neighbor who keeps my equipment in good starting shape for me. As a backup I have electric equipment if I am working close to a power source.

Tina, I'm too far for the electric saws...I hate that chainsaw with a passion. Honestly I think DH has it 'fixed' so I can't start it.

I am not getting far today..every time I work out in the front..people stop to 'chat'. Uh, can't you see I'm busy rolz It's too hot to be in a nice mood today.

well here is the deal--people see you out working in this heat and so they stop to give you a rest---at least their heart is in the right place.

No~people stop to ask me if I can look after their kids, take them to town when I go, help them do yard work, help with a grad supper..and did I mention these are the people who steadily back out on me for things. I wasn't in a good mood and I blew my top at one Aunt..and another old employer(babysitter)..look after your own kids and do your own work.

Honestly when I see family coming I know they want something, but remember 'Tamara the b*&%^' is out in full force since the baby shower. thumbup

I'm outside in blazing heat cutting up 16 ft logs and digging 2 ft deep holes to sink posts and they have the gall to ask..."If your not to busy can you ....." devil

I just need to vent notme

Off to make supper....

WELL !!! I am very proud of you, that you are sticking by your guns & not volunteering yourself out to these people who did not feel the need to help you when you needed it.--- apparenlty they have short memories.

To that end you "may" have to remind them just why you are saying no to them----

leaving for town here in an hour. I'll be back later this afternoon/evening

I'm good..tired today.

Turned out the accident was DH's co-worker from 2 years ago. He fell asleep at the wheel driving home from work in another district and crossed the yellow line and hit a transport..not good. He broke his arm, leg..shattered his pelvis in pieces and had massive eternal bleeding...and to make things even sadder..his daughter graduated last night and has her prom tonight. Such a shame, they don't even know if he'll survive. DH only got home at 1:30 m and had to be back up at 5am. We are all tired.

Sis-in-law called at 11 pm last night to say something was in the field chasing the cows, so I had to walk up and search for a half hour...didn't see anything. Yet the cows were hiding in the corner with their babies..I am thinking I have a bear problem that needs to be fixed.

My get-up and go, got up and left without me today lol

so sorry to hear anout your DH's friend. I do so hope he makes it.
That driving tired is more than likley more of an issue that we all think it is, sad to say.
so sorry about the cattle, I so hope that yo usoon find out what it is, and that it is a simpler fix than it being bears.

I say that you should rest some today, because if yo uget ill form lack of sleep & pushing yoursl;ef in the heat, and yo get sick, yo uwill have more down time.
about your get up & go,- going without you---did ya give it a list of chores to get done before it left??? neenee
just take a few hours today & rest some. I worry about you.

Don't worry about me..I'm fine. Just the once I fall asleep and wake back up, I can't fall asleep again. And the call at 11 pm and DH coming home at 1..made me a walking zombie this morning.

I'll rest tomorrow, it's supposed to rain lol

Whats up today for you?

Ah, a busy day ahead of you..sorry on the loss of your friend kissie

I have to finish my fence today..DH purposely 'fixed' the chain saw so I can't use it...apparently it has too much power for me..ah, o.k. if you say so touched..just fine, then buy me a small hobby one. grin

My 'weeds' not grass needs to be cut but the ground is so dry. My lawn is all white clover, not much grass left to it..guess thats what happens when you build on a feed pasture lol it might wait a few days.

Other than that..just some housework and usual days errands. I'll wait and mop and bake tomorrow, when it's a rainy inside day anyway.

Oh forgot to add, since taking away the rails on the lawn, it makes my lawn look bigger. DH said that now the front flower bed looks too small lol Uh, wonder if that means he'll buy me plants to expand it? grin

haha I thought of that as I was typng the words... lol
good luck looking when you get the chance.....
I think our sales should begin soon too.
But I would need another flower bed as well.
and really I would love to put in a bed of say what I would consider "invasive" flowers. cleome would be one choice I would make.
I love them I just would not like them to be spreading all over the place.

ah well to dream.....

I used to have little flower beds all over my lawn, but they were a pain to mow around..so I took quite a few out. Now I need to expand only one of them so it's not too bad. I'll do it slowly..and cheaply thumbup

I hate to go but I really need to start my day, I have two loads of laundry to put out..I will be in back and forth at break times today thumbup

Have a good day.
