cant tell what growing out of the potatoe top of plant, i would give u a photo but cant seem to put a image in.

You need to post your pic to a photo hosting site first, I use photobucket then copy and paste from there to here.

Looks like your potato plant is making seed pods. Some plants after they flower will produce what looks like small green tomatoes, there are hundred of 'true' seeds in them. They are poisonous don't attempt to eat them or bite them to see whats inside.

I had it happen a few times, I just pluck them off and throw them away, they'll take the growing energy out of your plant.
