I just bought a blueberry plant at Wal-Mart for $5 this week. Any growing tips/tricks? How big do they get?

Well depends on the variety..are they high bush or patio?
They like an acidic soil.

I didn't realize there was a difference or option. Mine is "Chippewa Blueberry". The tag says:
"Chippewa Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Chippewa') 8+ hours of daily sun; Water regularly as needed; 8' tall x 6-8' wide; Cold hardy to -40*F; Enjoy fresh. Plant near another blueberry variety to ensure good fruit production." I guess it's high bush then. Will it still do alright production-wise if it's my only blueberry plant?

Well many types of blueberries are self-sterile so they can't be pollinated by the other flowers of the same variety, they have to be cross-pollinated with another type of blueberry. Highbush blueberries don't absolutely need two different varieties for cross pollination but bigger berries and more berries will result from it... and that's why its usually best to plant at least two different kinds.

I've got three different kinds of blueberries in my bed but when the computer died all my information about them died too.
my question is should I prune them so they stay bushy?
Also they didn't grow to much this year. Can you suggest some things I should to do improve that?

tamara the information on the pruning was very good. I think maybe this winter I'll put up a couple of pictures of the one that is the one that I am thinking of pruning and maybe get some more information on which branches look like they need to go. I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to pruning.
