TK you wanted to see my yard--so here is a few pics--I will warn you though, my camera is not the best. The back yard--Rock garden, as my SIL calls it. ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/6waterlily-wildflowers7-8-10004.jpg) a quick view of my veggie garden. It is only like 10 x 8. ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/6waterlily-wildflowers7-8-10005.jpg) My 4 x 14 flower bed that is located about 15 ft, or so, off of the back deck. My yard goes to the end of the cut grass there to the back. We have 1/2 acre ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/6waterlily-wildflowers7-8-10003.jpg)

You really made the most of your veggie garden. You wouldn't want to come down here next spring would you? I know I'm going to make a botch of my veggie garden. I never manage to use space wisely. Did you put the sunflowers there to attract bees? ok, inquiring minds need to know. What's in the flower bed? Coneflowers, ornamental grass, mexican hat? The picture on the second post I can't get to come in clear. I don't know if it's my eyes or my computer. I'm loving the pictures they are great.

you got all of that in the one bed? You definitely have to come show me how to arrange things in a flower bed. I am hopeless.

I am hopeless. yep I did--and I forgot to mention : Purslane---Portulaca oleracea--- and some curly varigated Hosta that Dodge sent me. what I do is I draw it out on paper & decide what I want & balance it out, height wise. Then when I am done, I fill in---keeping in mind how tall & wide something will grow. each year I "adjust" the arragement of the plants. I started out with half annuals & half perennials--I am going to eventually (hopefully) have all perennials. I figure in the end, it will be cheaper that way. if I could come & show you , I certainly would---

Well I have the first chart done (sort of). And I printed out my list of garden plants with height, bloom time and that kind of information but the print is small. If your like me you'll need your reading glasses to make it out.
That and I'm running out of black ink and I keep forgetting because I hardly ever print.
