Hi all,

Here is my problem. I have a clump of blackberry lilies that I brought from the old place. They are multiplying great, they grow really tall, but the blooms are tiny. Way smaller than they should be. The soil is very rich and well draining. They get full sun.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

Well howdy stranger wavy

They might need dividing, too much nitrogen in your soil or they could be planted too deep.

~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.

Ok, I'll put them on the divide list and make sure I don't put them too deep. And I'll see about adding some of the "garden soil" to the humus that is in the foundation bed around where they are planted.

Thanks for the advice.

I have hundreds of seeds for the orange spotted blackberry lilies. PM me with your address and I'll get them in the mail. They are a direct sow in the fall or winter.

your right I believe I read somewhere that they weren't true lilies.

Maybe you better find a really big trade lol.

I harvested so many because I was thinking about doing the ditch bed in them. But then I changed my mind.
