Below is a photo of the latest froggie to take up residence in my window well.
There have been large & baby ones off & on this spring. I sure wish I know how they were coming & going....Oh well-- why
I try to keep the little tray filled with water for them.

Beautiful dog, Carol. And cute frog. I have an over abundance of toads this year, I see them all over in all sizes when I go outside.

Thanks Tina.

Tamara--so sorry about the phobia-- kissie--and yes I understand about them.

Really he is a sweetheart---and until he barked (loudly) when someone came you would not worry about him---

Is yours a general dog phobia, Tamara? Or breed specific?

I once had a doggie same color as yours .Dead at 15.
Small mix terrier.

He looks lively an healthy.

WE have had a lot of frogs this year as well. but I only see tehm in teh window well.--all different sizes & counts. I have no idea how they are getting on 7 out ??

Dante is an Australian mix and he will be 13 next spring. at some point when he was a pup (before we had him) he was hit by a car & had many broken bones & has some pins in his bones to hold them while they healed. I have cortizine pills to give him when he is in a lot of pain---he limps really badly & can hardly walk some days.

he is a real sweetheart. he has never brushed anything with his tail & accidently broke it, he is realy nice about food (you could set a plate of peopel food down on the floor & walk away & he would not eat it), and if you ask him if he has to go outside to potty he sits down if he does not have to.

those are just some examples to show you how well mannered he is.

Awwww
Our doggie died this winter, he was about that age, and he was also polite about starting to eat.

He spent all his extra hours throwing this one metal feeding dish around an playing with it. On a chain an very powerful part shepdog..

I know how you love it .

So sorry about your doggie, it too sounds like it was a sweetheart of a dog.. it is so sad when they get older & then finally pass from this world. tears

I have told Rod we will NOT be getting another one. We have been so very lucky with Dante--I do not want try my luck another time.

I am getting a little worried of having another one.
my neice had a beautiful collie an the neighbors were going to sue her is she didnt get rid of it. Claimed it bit someone.

They were actually at the animal shelter to make sure she got rid of it.
That stuff is a bad thing.

So I arent sure we will get another. Ours was a great watch dog.

oh my--well, I will pray for you. I really do not think Collies are agressive--well unless someone is threatening one of their "people".

I agree, it was purebred.
Our son had one an it was just a follower not mean.

Probably jealousy.

Right now we have no desire .

We had a mix terrier when we first married.
Hd brought it home in a shoe box from the steel mills/LOL

It was about 8 inches tall an a barrel of fun. It was a girl dog an we called it Giorgie.
No one ever knew it wasnt a boy >LOL we told them after it died.

My Ohio sis wanted to take it home each time she visited. I said no.
