I'm jercile and this is my first time here and I don't know if I'm in the right place or not. I have a question about my vegetable garden. The question is when the plant are done producing and ready to be uprooted and mulched back into the garden, should I make them into very tiny pieces so they will break down faster or should they be about the size of store bought mulch chips?
Thank you and if I'm lucky maybe I will be able to find an answer.
Hi Jercile ~ I quoted your post down here thinking you might get more replies!
We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Thanks Merme..
Hi Jercile and welcome.
I chop mine up smaller with my garden hoe, about 3 to 4 inch pieces at most. Some people are lucky enough to have a tiller, then they just grind them into the soil.
~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.
