Nice..

I had liatris here for about 10 years and one year they disappeared. They used to attract wasps..

Trust me if you own Astilbe's...you'd never worry about what liatris bring in. My astilbes are covered with bees, wasps and hornets..

I have both, and No regrets. I arent setting here moaning about what they bring.

They bring me joy an contentment. Mow down your yard if you dislike the creatures.
Put horses in the yard.

I don't do liatris because I've heard it is posionous to cows and I have a cattle farm behind me. The liatris naturalize easily here or so I've heard. I want to be a good neighbor so I don't plant it.

I have zinnia though and I have loads of butterflies and bumble bees.

I've seem a lot less wasps than were here when I moved in but then I've sprayed the last two years.

What I have loads of are grasshoppers.
