Waiting on the next push of cukes for pickles . Still getting green beans and zuc's every few days. Taters are about gone ...1 bin left. Those didn't do as well as I hoped , but the 1st time I can't complain...they were still so....good Tomatoes are starting , picked 4 so far, even have a re-seeder from last yrs grape tomatoe plant...looks like their going to burst...mmmm bet their going to be good.

Maxi has harvested one tomato, one summer squash & one string bean so far....

I have been getitng chives and 2 tomatoes so far. I harvested 2 of my sunflower heads (the black oil) but one went bad, the other we just cleaned off on sunday-
Tomorrow I plan to check my tomatoes again I will take a photo of any ripe ones.--

8 more tomatoes so far--hoping to get more tomorrow.
next week I will try out the potatoes & see how they are doing....

Apparently I have more beans than a person will need lol according to DH anyway. Not sure on the rest, I'll see it today.

All most men know is that their food is sitting on the table at meal time. if you can tell them it was put there for less money than it might have cost, well so much the better. As to the amount, well---

Yup, a few cukes and peas also..maybe a third of my garden is o.k. Looks like frost got most of it also.

1/3 sounds like a good trade off. You only lost 2/3 of you garden in exchange for a perfect little baby grand daughter.
