I'm starting to pick peaches from my tree. They are big, sweet, and so juicy just one bite will make juices run down your chin and onto your shirt!They appeared to have ripened later this year than last year, probably due to cooler weather this year. The smaller peaches are ripening first; the bigger ones will ripen in the next few weeks. The peach tree began to get leaf curl, but I picked off the affected leaves and the tree recovered.I am hoping for a bigger, better crop next year.

Congrats Emdegardener2 I had my first harvest off of my pear tree this year it was great.

I am freezing them. I cut them in half, remove any bad spots, and place them in ziploc bags. The peaches I'm currently harvesting are on the small-medium size. The big ones aren't ready yet.
