My friends only child died from cancer 3 months ago and her husband has committed suicide. She needs prayer.

Just got a call that my friend, Rhonda, has been taken to the hospital. She took some medicine that her son had been taking that was at her house and Hospice didn't take it back. I remember her telling me that not long after he died that she needed to call Hospice because she didn't know what to do with his medicine. I don't know for sure but I'll bet it was pain medicine. He died August 11th.

That is awful to take old medicine.. Never never.

Thanks but she was dead when I got the call. The person calling didn't want to tell me at work. Someone else called me a few minutes after I posted and told me. It was intentional. She took some pain medicine. It's a horrible story. It's seems like it's not real. Her son had cancer and his wife left him after a while. He first found a place on his foot that hurt and it turned out to be some type of rare cancer. He had surgery and treatment. He was something in financial planning and made a lot of money. He must have been in his late 20's the first time. Then a few years later he got a cough that wouldn't go away and he had bronchial cancer. I think it ended up everywhere. He had to take disability from his job and he didn't get as much money as he was making and his wife moved out. He stayed in their house but toward the end stayed with his parents a lot. Guess that's why he had medicine at both places. He died at his own house. His dad didn't seem depressed to me or anyone else but ended up hanging himself. My friend, Rhonda, knew he was going to put out the Christmas stuff and when she came home and the attic door was open she didn't think anything about it for a while. Finally she went to check on him and he was dead. She fell apart.

Yes--I am not sure what to say either---I too am so sad for the people left behind and for you. It must have been terribly hard to tell us this.

yes it is,, Prayers for all their family members and Friends, Sheri I know how losing a friend is so very very hard, and this is as Tina said incredibly sad.
