Belinda,- how are things going???

Please pray for Doug. He is 62 and on Wednesday he had kidney surgery. It was only supposed to be 4 hours in the OR, but it turned out to be 6. He isn't doing well & is uncooperative. Doesn't seem to understand that pain control will help him heal & is refusing all medications & can't do the walking, etc., the docs want him doing. His family is also exhausted and needs our prayers.

Doug is doing but better and we appreciate all your prayers for him. Thanks!

RIP Connie, RIP.

I just got the very sad news that Connie, one of the ladies of my church, was killed this morning right in front of our church when she was hit by a drunk driver. She was walking across Main Street in the crosswalk, carrying her prayer book & bible when he came flying up the road and hit her. The traffic from the other direction had already stopped for her.

All of her friends were standing outside on the church lawn when it happened, waiting to go inside. So you can imagine the sense of shock everyone is feeling to have witnessed this awful event & to lose a friend in such a way!

Please pray for the repose of Connie's soul torn from life so suddenly, and for strength & peace for her family and friends.

All prayers, always, for Tamara and her family. Her grandfather has passed away today. Strength and peace for all of them, and may he rest in peace and rise in glory.

oh my I am so very sorry for you and for your whole family, Tamara.

Thank you all so much..he did live a good life, we would have celebrated his 95th birthday tomorrow.

My middle son has Moya Moya syndrome had a stroke due to it last Thursday is having surgery to hopefully help some tomorrow. His Carotid artery is 99% blocked. He is only 50 please say a prayer for him. He has 2 older brothers 1 older sister, 2 younger brothers and 1 younger sister. Thank you all in advance.

Thank you all for your prayers. He pulled through just fine the hour long surgery turned to more like 3 hours had complications with scar tissue. He will be fine.

My son is home now playing with his granddaughter everything almost back to "our" normal. Thank you all for your prayers.

My neice, SueAnn, with the advanced lung cancer, is continuing her treatments. She has lost all her hair & someone is bringing her several wigs to try on this weekend. She also asked her Aunts for a Do-Rag, which Aunt Nancy is taking over today. SueAnn has her treatment and is sick for two days. Then she gets a bit better until the next treatment. Her little boys are doing okay so far as she is still able to care for them personally.

Prayers are requested for Dwight, It's been a rough four days,, today was worse.
There is no word for potentially leaving the hospital, He needs to get an appetite, and then hold food down before he goes home. His physical strength is very very weak, and is unable to walk without help.

My neice SueAnn is going through a particularly hard time. She has a bad lung infection & the doctor was uncertain this weekend if he should admit her or not. So she went home to her other Aunt's house (Nancy is an RN) so she could really rest, take the medications correctly & have Nancy keep an eye on her. Unfortunately, her husband is a Jerk, no, make that JERK, and has been calling and calling & making absurd threats. He should be bending over backwards to make these days as comfortable & pleasant as he can for Sue & his sons, but no, not that one.

I just spoke w/ Nancy again & she said SueAnn has mostly slept. She is drinking small amounts still but they are finding it hard to get drinks that don't choke her. The thickeners the hospital use SueAnn can't seem to manage. I reminded them that when her mom had this cancer she kept Pedialyte popsicles in the freezer & kept hydrated that way.
