beautiful!!!!! and out of my 9 cactus plants not one is blooming.
someone suggested that I was giving htem to much sun?? should I move them to an eara that has less sun ???
they are all on the table next to my west facing glass sliding doors--(they have UV ray sun block film on them) so while they get sun not an over abundance of i t---

Also they are not root bound, (well for sure 8 are not)--I read someplace that tehy should be to bloom ??

Thanks Carol,
Glad your here.
I had mine on the porch all summer but in the shade part .....The roof shads a portion of it all day. Mine live under neglect. I think they like root bound??????? I have other pots in different stages not in bloom.
Might be the type also.
Kind of early for christmas an thanksgiving????

Try some out of the sun.

I have one small pot that is coming into bloom soon by my eastern bedroom window. My large one that has bloomed every Thanksgiving since I got it as a small piece years ago doesn't have a single bud on it this year! What's up with that???

Thanks so much, barb--I am glad as well.

I have Christams cactus & "hoilday cactus---I really think it is just the place that they were bought from..I have red-pink-tangerine-& some form you and Lynne.

I put yours & Lynne's in the same pot to promote them being root bound earlier--but I may seperate tehm, now seeing how much yours have grown.

Somebody somewhere told me to get mine out of the sun too--so I thought I would put 1 or 2 in my living room---they would get no direct sun in there because I have a shade on the east window that I pretty much keep down.

Again your cactus are beautiful--I esp like all teh different colors you have together--
