The stores are putting their bulbs on clearance and it's too late to plant them. Can they be bought and stored and planted in the spring???

Yes! In storage, make sure they have enough chill to keep them from drying out but not freeze.

Many people do keep them in a fridge. You just need to inspect for the green fuzzies like you do with fruit and vegetables.

A lot of spring flowering bulbs can be forced to bloom indoors in the winter!
