Morning all, too many posts to post on lol I fell behind too much.

Work keeps me going and being busy makes me feel better. This is going to be the busiest month this year I think though. I need to get DD all fixed and settled so I can start on Christmas affairs..this is the first year I am behind schedule in everything.

I am waiting on word for when the paint will be dropped off at the apartment, hoping to paint Monday and Tuesday. Thankfully the ceilings are in great shape so it's just walls to be done. And a lot of scrubbing on baseboards, edges of walls and such. Why people would only mop the middle of a floor for 2 years just amazes me touched

Thing is they would send someone to paint later in a month or so but then DD would have to take the baby out of the apartment for a week(which would be fine)but the painters(who are just anyone local who wants to make a few dollars)would have free access to her apartment for a week. Next thing you know..her things would start going missing. Not taking a chance.

Pouring rain out today..what strange weather.

Good morning. I am up before my alarm this morning. Jonni was following her ears (and nose) this morning and found a can of air freshener leaking. And woke me to tell ma about it. I put it outside the back door. At least the room smells nice.
So early it is. At least I do not have the headache I woke with yesterday.

I keep saying the same thing about working mine off. But every time I turn around, it is still following me.

Good Afternoon all,
I have been reading all along but not doing much else the last few days... what I though was a back ache from cooking all day TDay turned out to be a kidney infection... went to doc and got meds but boy it really knocked me down for a few days.. I though I was going to go to ER last night... but today meds have kicked in and feel better ... moving slowly but moving ... not a fun few days..
It has warmed today at least- was really cold before... not good when you are chilling and feverish- my warming blanket really helped with that...
Well off to finally get in shower... and then go take a nap... did sleep lat night but am worn out- Carrie is having Joseph watch boys today to let me rest... want to finish getting my Christmas stuff up tonit and tomorrow... I am going to cut up some leftover wrapping paper and let the boys make snowflakes to hang... and give as presents... will iron those with wax paper to make them shiny and last longer... that will be a good project for winter break I think...
Well off to nap I hope...
Nana

I am so sorry, Nana. I hope you recover quickly now that you have finally begun. That is so hard on people.

Nana, hope you feel better soon. I fell at work today. On the concrete floor. I think I'm okay, just sore will definitely have bruises tomorrow. I filled out an incident report just in case I need to go to the doctor.

Yep--My sympathies to you. Welcome to my life---

although DH did guarentee that I would have time to make Christmas cookies--he volunteered me to bring them to his company Christmas party which is Dec 17th.
Sad news--the party is during the day, at the work place & no family is invited.

Therapy today and then I HOPE to at least put up my tree.

Hi all, home again. Damp here also Tina.

Had to take the baby back to the doctor about her eczema on her cheeks, another different cream once more. Then came back to find my daughter beyond upset because the EX hadn't paid their bills and the collection agency is after her for $650 on a cable/phone bill. Lesson learned(He had it in her name)..hoping they allow her to make small payments. It's always something...

Put an apron on Rod and put him to work lol I am hoping to get my baking done the week of the 13th, fingers crossed.

They should allow small payments, Tamara. They have to here.
I popped Teddy in my van and went and got cash and some food for the weekend. I have a turkey in the oven (finally) and have huge piles of leaves to be hauled away from my yard. My wood boxes are filled and I am ready for the weekend rain. Jonni will be taking off this afternoon or evening to hang with her friends in Los Angeles so I only have myself and Teddy to feed.
Life is good.

Sounds good and ready for the weekend Tina..

I bought a turkey today too, one of those 'utility grade ones' missing a leg but only $2 a pound(I know that sounds pricey but that's cheap here)...it might look ugly on the Christmas platter but hey, at least we have it thumbup

DD just got everything sorted out on the phone, they are freezing the interest and allowing her to divide the amount into 12 months to pay it off..another bill she can't really afford. uhuhh

I hope it is shut off and not accruing more debt?
I wish I could get hold of fowl with missing parts. I used to be able to purchase them; chickens, cornish game hens and turkeys. But have not seen any for several years. I like the price break. And yours will look delicious on your table, Tamara.
California has laws about 'perfect' fruit and things. I do not mind buying an orange that has a scar on the skin from being grown a little too close to a twig or something. I can search some farmstands and get the imperfect things for less sometimes. But they are not available in the stores, by law. It is a bummer ansd so much is wasted. It goes for cattle feed or something often as not. Or composted. What a waste when there are many hungry people eating so poorly.

They are sending her a contract that states that the account is shut off as long as she makes a monthly payment on the 5th of each month.

We are lucky here..you can buy 'utility' in a lot of things. Good thing because even the price of utility is extremely high.
