Vicki I have mine in full shade in a hanging container also,, I keep the soil like a "wrung out damp sponge" could be it's unhappy about being moved around, and everytime it's moved ~it has to get used to the area first,, and could be if you repot it in new soil it may help! This is the best thing I know of,,,, I'm not real experienced with these too much The nursery told me to keep in full shade outside so that's what I do and it works for me!!
I 'm sure someone will come along with more experience and better advice you!

First, check the roots...look for healthy roots, not wet, rotted dark ones. If the roots are in good shape, as mentioned, leave it in one spot. New Guinea Impatiens can actually take more sun than others, so some morning sun wouldn't hurt. Keep it watered, but not sopping wet. I usually have to water mine every other day, sometimes every day when it's really warm. Good luck!

The problem may be that the plant was in an outdoor environment or a greenhouse where it got the direct natural light and sun it needed. When it was kept indoors without being acclimated, the plant concentrated on keeping the roots going at the cost of the leaves. Indoor light, no matter how bright is not the same as sunlight.

Give the impatients partial light, don't repot, disturb roots or feed. Let the plant get used to being back outdoors then follow the rest of alankhart's suggestions. When you water the basket, let it set a few mintues then tip the basket to drain excess water.
