I have our New Year's Dinner underway. Sirloin steak Baked potatoGarden Salad Icy cold Diet Pepsi for Maxi and Diet Ginger Ale for me Y'all should come on up, the weather is fine!!

We've been watching Batman movies, which we really enjoy, and eating snacks (which we also enjoy!)  Now Maxi's friend Dom is here for a sleepover.

gee, where is everyone?/ I see a lot of people on the side bar but no one has posted for a long while.....oh well--I am just in to say goodnight. I am going to go get all snug in my bed & pull up the covers. It is chilly around here---My computer says it is 27*F outdoors, our indoor/outdoor thermometer says it is 22 outdoors. (which I tend to believe of the 2) so g'night everyone--sleep well & sweet dreams.

Maxi is at the movies seeing The Voyage of the Dawn Treader from The Chronicles of Narnia. He had wanted to go to a different theater but that one wasn't showing anything at this time of day that he wanted to see. Smitty's, where he wanted to go, is a cool place. It is a restaurant/movie theater combined & you sit at your table in comfy big chairs, eat & watch the movie. Lots of kids have birthday parties there because it is so fun. They are also licensed so that in the evening they can serve beer & wine to adults w/ dinner, making it a nice date place as well. But they only had kiddie shows this afternoon & Maxi wouldn't be caught dead in a kiddie show! We are supposed to get rain today. Odd weather for this early in January.

Maxi and I are having fun watching a Bond, James Bond marathon. We like Sean Connery. And we like the improbable stories! We had a great dinner of home fried potatoes, red bell peppers, onions & ham cut up small and then eggs broken into the mix. YUMMY!

Good evening everyone. Had an up and down day. Work was alright and I got the shopping done. I was pleased with how my dinner turned out. Pork chops with yams and apples cooked in the crock pot. I'm going to take a steaming bath and then read until I fall asleep. Good night!
