Hello,

I have been hoping to get one of these for awhile now. I love them! I had one that froze during a move, a small one. I got one this year, about 10 inches tall that had a couple ornaments on it and glitter.

I think that the spray glitter glue they sprayed on it has smothered it :( It looked great the first week, I kept it in sun, inside and fairly humid. It still looks green, but almost a dusty green and the texture has changed. Its not that healthy soft needles, now its rough and dry. The branches seem to snap though there are no brown ones yet.

I rinsed the entire plant, hoping to help with the glue which I can actually see on couple branches.

I just keep misting it, hoping it will live, but I think its a goner. Any ideas? Thanks!

Welcome, SydneyA. I think you are doing about as well as you can do. These are temperamental plants. They do not adapt well to changes. So they stress very easily when moved from a greenhouse situation, which is probably where yours was raised, to a home.
I would continue what you are doing and see if it recovers. Maybe do not do anything additional to it except B vitamins while watering for stress. Do not re-pot until it recovers.
Good luck!
