Prescriptions here have a short shelf life. If you don't fill them in something like 6 weeks they are no longer any good. It has to do with stockpiling and illegal sales and stuff.

My cat is smoking crack again tonight...
...he just jumped from the floor 5' up into the air and bit me on the mouth!
That's quite a feat for a freakishly large 5 month old kitten that weighs "over 10 pounds" already.

I'm about to turn in. I didn't sleep as well last night as I did the night before. Last night was more of a normal night for me. Hoping tonight is better, I'm pretty beat but that doesn't always mean anything. Cindy, hope you get some sleep tonight. Good night everyone.

Tamara, I work Sunday through Thursday. Not quite your typical work week but it's still five days. I don't do overtime.

Has anyone heard from Nana or Merme lately? Seems it's been a while since either of them checked in here.

I have seen Merme's and Nana's names in the sidebar on occasion. Almost daily. So they have been here.

That's not a bad shift Cheryl, it is nice to get Friday and Saturday off.

Good Afternoon. I got to take a small nap today---

now I am up---My Dh is watching a new show about people prospecting gold up in Alaska. I can't help but think "if it were that easy we all would be up there doing that"...but I suppose it is an interesting thing to watch---something different.

I made a grounf venison pasta dish yesterday. There is enough left for Rod to have today for supper.
I think I will have a loaded baked potato myself...
Tina's crock pot full of BBQ got me to thinking about food.

I've been watching that show...they are a bunch of idiots.
It's like a train wreck...but I can't look away.

There's an aloe question in "new members"...I don't know the "proper" answer to it...

ok Cindy--nothing I can find says anything about trimming the plant---I did find siomething that said when wanting to use it for burns to break it off of a lower "branch"

I tried to nap but a football game got in the way. I have my son in the tub getting ready for school tomorrow.
I made a bunch of filled rolls (dumplings) out of that beef and will freeze for individual meals. I let them rise a little too much bet they are good. I have my fires burning slow to keep the chill outside with the wind. I am almost ready for the next game. If it is as boring as the last one I may be flipping channels looking for something else to watch.

aacckkk...I was trying to cook...bad idea all around.
Can't cook properly with Lola on my shoulder...she says "I wanna bite!" constantly...so I turned it up and almost burned it.

Tina...Football...I have no idea what is going on in that game...never learned it. In school when I was a cheerleader we did a cheer "First and ten let's do it again!" Not a freakin' clue what that means.

I learned football young and enjoy it. I am always sad to see the season end.

Supper is about ready----I might or might not be back---it seems I am getting a cold----

Hi all,
I have been here reading and looking around- been having insommnia problems too so not in the best frame of mind--- and yes I know what causes it for me- the cold and cloudy. depressing days of winter for me- makes me hurt- so I take motrin for the achiness... makes me tired and cranky too- so I stay in my own little world till it passes - have been doing a lot of clearing out of clutter and stuff... even got hubby to get rid of old stereo... it was my Mom's and at leat 35 yrs old... only thing that works is the radio part and it doesn't work very well- so he is donating it.... Yay! I have been reading a lot too- my oldest dd gave me a sony book reader- early edition for Christmas and loaded it with almost 100 books...love it... makes it so easy to take a book with me ....
I will have boys tomorow after school- and then on Wed we will keep them till Sat- Jon is going out of town and Carrie is closing those nights... so I have make extra plans for cooking big for them- 4 boys can eat a lot...
Well I am going to go watch some tv with Joe- we watch the Gold Rush show too- have it DVR'd... those people are crazy ... I lived in Juneau growing up and even in the "city" back then we watched out for bears...those people are nuts!

But I agree I would not take kids out into the wilderness and never mind the wild animals what about the lack of medical care??

Good Lord...it's almost 3am...again. I think I will sleep when I'm dead.

Good morning. I slept long and well. A new week begins.

We had a fun filled day on saturday at the Total Bridal show I think I walked away with stuff worth three times what I pain to get in. It was a lot of fun I think we even managed to pick put the bridesmaid dresses, a convertible dress so everyone can wear them again in what ever way they want I'm even contemplating getting it in white for my dress, add a little jewelery and we're set.

Cindy--you really need to find out what causes that---REALLY

Tina glad that you got a good nights sleep. I did too---I think my meds are making me sleep longer--I sleep like 9 hours a night--they must be--that is an average of how long I sleep now.

I do not feel bad this morning but I have phlem and slight nasal congestion--I think a cold is coming

Glad that yo had a good time. Also glad that you found a lot of wedding things. You will know when you see "THE" dress----I saw it happen just a few weeks ago with mt DD. She had a dress all picked out--said yes this si waht I saw this is waht I will get..just business like. So someoen suggested she try on another dress to make sure trhey had teh right size to order...well she looked like a little angel in this dress--but the main thing was she was giggling like a littel girl--she was so happy with how she looked in it--yep, you will KNOW when you see "THE" dress.

I'll have to start trying on dresses soon, I haven't quite work myself into the right mind frame for it yet.

I sleep about 7 hours a night and try to tuck in an hour nap during the days. That seems to work for me.
I hope you are not getting a cold, Carol. I am very glad that our colds last week seemed to be mild and short lived. Almost all gone.
I got my son to school and stopped to shop for a couple of things. I came home and put them away. I need to go up and check out how well my daughter cleaned the treehouse up. She had guests.

I think it may be a cold----so I told Rod he could take the car today--I will stay in and not do much but rest and take Airborne. Hopefully I can head it off.

About sleeping--I may have to start taking naps---that is suppose to be good for me anyway plus perhaps I will sleep less at night---I can hope.

Going to clean now---be back later---

I plan a nap into my day. Even the times I don't sleep, I get a good rest. I lay on the sofa with some kind of boring old rerun on the TV. I really do get good rest time.
I have been cleaning a little too. The dirt builds up faster than I get rid of it though.
