Well I'm a newbie here grin
and I decided to join since it would be easier to find out more info about gardening then spending hours researching about this stuff...

I live in a tropical country, an apartment with a balcony, sunlight can come in, it isn't so hot there. I'm planning on raising a few flowers there as a hobby, and I have no experience before... And so I need a lot of help even though I have did my research around the internet a bit. party

I'm planning to grow carnations and geraniums, and I've bought a pack of Dianthus caryophyllus and Pelargonium zonale from Mr. Fothergills' as well as a few pots around 9 cm in size. I'll buy more pots if it grows bigger (well I'm hoping it does prayers ).

I've heard that they grow well, I'm planning to start growing them as soon as I've gotten enough info on them. Can anyone please explain to me a bit more on how to water them and making sure the compost is moist? Thanks a lot. fidget

Sounds like you started out with some beautiful, easy to grow flowers.
You will do fine with those!
