g'nite everyone.

I am going to try out my new bed tonight.

They say it may take several weeks to find your number and or to adjust to this type of sleeping---but hey--I gotta sleep anyway right???--so whatever time it takes---well it does--who cares----
Valarie says we will love it---I hope she is right.

You'll have to keep us updated about your new bed, Carol. Man, I so badly want a new bed. If the money is there then I know DH would go for it. Things are kind of weird right now with money so I'll just have to wait a bit longer. Our bed isn't that bad, but it's getting there. I'm going to read for a bit and hopefully fall asleep. I have to get up early tomorrow.

last night was ok--I will say I feel more rested but cant say it was a "wonder" nights sleep.

Our mattress was shot years ago--but DH finally consented to getting a different one.

Today was a good day. Had fun in my race, came home and made a yummy breakfast. Then I needed a nap and slept for about two and half hours. Now, if only this laundry would wash itself.

I have done nothing today except lay in the chair...

Hi everybody. I am so sick of all this wind and all this rain. The rain wouldn't even be so bad if it wasn't so darn windy all the time. I couldn't even bring myself to run in it today, I'm just so tired of it. I guess I shouldn't complain, it could be worse. My mom and I are going to see another Cirque show on Saturday. So excited! I forgot to mention that on my bird walk on Saturday there was a male anna's hummingbird showing off for us. He was so pretty and just sat there on a branch, looking back and forth, letting us get within a few feet of him. He even did his display a couple times but we didn't see any other hummingbirds around so we figured he was showing off for us since it was just a wet, miserable day and we didn't get to see much as far as birding goes. I'm kind of loopy tonight. Two busy days at work and not enough sleep. Thinking about heading to bed soon.

When the weather is consistently dreary or brutal, it is hard not to complain. It affects most aspects of our daily life.
I am still trying to adjust to the clock changing a little bit.

I have my list of chores to do a nd I am relishing in doing them !!!

I have already cleaned out my pantry and it was so rewarding. At "the farm" I kept all of my cabinets & drawers neat all of the time.---but I have not been so good at it here--this being sick & recovering messes royally with ones routine. With that whole mess and caring for my MIL I am rarely home these days--
(and of course I take tuesday mornings for me)

Hi all, just in for a sec.

Hoping spring is really on it's way for all of you..and think of me while you're playing in the dirt. It's still storming here, another foot of snow to fall in the next day or so once again.

I am sorry you are still getting snow, Tamara. I hope it is over soon and you get a very long growing season.

I wish I could play hookie and stay home. Oh well, at least tomorrow is my last day before my days off. Tamara, I hope your snow lets up. We got a break from the rain today and it was wonderful. Still a little chilly and breezy but not too bad. I'm pretty worn out so I think I'll get to bed very soon.

Well I didnt get to stay home after all. about 2:30 in the afternoon my Valarie called me & invited me out to go shopping. So of course I went. THen we called up my youngest DD & she & her DH met us for supper--it was grand!!!!!

It sounds like you had a great day yesterday, Carol. My day was not bad and my daughter's tricky taxes are done. Mine are easy.
Today I dressed Ted in green. He could care less as long as the clothing falls within his comfort parameters. But a few of his school mates get into the holiday thing so I dress him for them.

HI all , Happy ST Paddy's Day! Been a while... been cooking a lot lately- trying to fill up freezer with dinners for summer and before food prices go to high...got 2 pot roasts in crock pots and and my roaster full of sticky chicken.. about 15 lbs going... that will be a lot of meals for the two of us...
I have some porkchops to do tomorrow ... and some round steak to make chick fried steak with... that will happen tomorrow too...
We got out the last few days and cleaned up flower beds and cleaned up yard some... think this may be last yr for the boys swing set... unless Joseph takes it apart and repaints it... which he may do to get another couple yrs out of it...the littlest ones are only 6.. of course Nicoli would rather climb the trees.. he is a little monkey..

All of your meals sound delicious, Nana. I am stockpiling for the hard times ahead as well. My freezers are pretty stuffed. As well as my pantry.

Good morning !! Been up since 4:30.

Now I am getting ready to go to therapy---I have not gone this week yet----then on to Wal-mart. (seems I live there)

Then home---if it is not rainng I may begin to go work on the back yard flower beds some.

If I see that someone is arouind later I'll be back in to say 'hi'

Good morning. This is my last 'kid-less' day before 2 weeks of spring break. And next week is supposed to be wet, cool, etc. I am looking forward to the no-alarm clock time ahead though.

The sun is trying to peek through, but it is only 40* out there. Gonna have to warm up a bit more, then maybe I can play in the gardens today. Its fern whacking day...

Yes, I was excited for spring break to begin so I could work out there without clock watching. But spring break is here and rain storms are to begin for about the next week.

yes--Bill and it is soggy here in the Med-West also. But I am hopeful that Summer will get here sooner rather than later...

March showers bring blooms to the desert and make it breathtaking. But we also have to watch for flooding and mudslides and such.

I love the desert in bloom! Awesome!

Sadly, I have never been to the desert.....

The deserts do not thrill most visitors. Just some of us. Anmd even I wouldn't want to live in the middle of a long stretch of rolling sand and things. But I have carved out my little nook on a mountainside and made it green.
