I had one before but it's lost somewhere? I went to the store the other day to buy another. I found one that said it was a grow bulb, it was expensive, then I saw a cheaper one that said it was an accent light that makes your plants look greener and healthier but said nothing about helping the plant to grow. Are these the same as a grow bulb? Then I seen a bulb called a daylight bulb. Would this be just as good as a grow bulb? It's confusing. I want a bulb that will help my plants to grow. Does it have to say it's a grow bulb?

Can anyone answer this question for me? I could buy the grow light that is specifically for plants but like I said it cost twice as much, so if any of you know if the daylight bulb is just as good, I would appreciate it.

The daylight bulbs are closer in spectrum color to natural light than the typical fluorescent tubes, but they don't necessarily provide every color of light that your plants might need, like grow lights do.
