It is all a state of mind----we have spent so many years thinking that friday is better than Monday--so of course it still is that way--- only difference it makes to me is whether or not I should set up the coffee pot for the DH or not---

Ya'll have the strangest hours ever..lol. I'm at work, it's 10:30am here. I admit, the dancing flower is addictive to watch..lol. I'm pretty tired today, not sure why. I am feeling .. off. Tired, lil dizzy, and slightly nauseaus. Cannot wait to crash tonight.

Thanks Carol.. I remember when I was still just a stay at home mom and I was on all kinds of hours..lol.
I dont think it's my blood pressure.. I can usually tell when it's up. (It has a tendancy to affect my head, and my pulse.)
Thought maybe my blood sugar, but it wasn't really bad either.
Maybe I'm just comin down with something.. goodness knows my kids are always comin home feeling blah.
Right now, I just want to curl up and sleep for hours.
1:30pm.. 3 hours of work left and then 90 minutes to home, then another 30 minutes to get the kid from her friend's house where she is goin after school, then MAYBE dinner.. or just BED.
I reject your reality, and substitue my own!

It is 5:39 and I am still trying to figure out what I will have for dinner. Nothing sounds good. Even going out for food that someone else has to cook.

Somehow coffee and chicken together does not sound so good to me. I would sub some kind of juice in that recipe.

Hey Tina, it has been. This year was a flop in the garden... Not too much happened in the garden recently due to heatwaves here. I did get some chocolate daisies to grow and a couple of other weird plants to sprout(hopefully they'll live)

I was all ready to go to bed earlier,, I was sooooo sleepy, the boys are all asleep,, I turned my sleep inducer on ( the TV ) and found we had a tornado warning in the next county over and rapidly approaching my county,,  what to do,,  wake the boys or let them sleep until WE get a warning? I decide let them sleep and prep My Closet Just in case I need to place the boys in there for safety. I hate NIGHT tornado's 'Spotters' can't see them ,, so we just have to rely on Radar,, so Now I'm Up wide awake and have to be up @ 5 am,, Tornado warning is called off,, heavy rains and possible hail,, I'm wide awake and here all by my self,

I did have a very good night, thank you, Carol. I even woke about 15 minutes before the alarm went off.
Are you enjoying your new mattress? Is all you wanted it to be?
I took Teddy to school and then shopped on the way home. Conserving the $4.099 a gal gas in my tank as much as possible. It has gone up again since I filled on Friday. And the food in the stores is way up too. I guess due to delivery costs. So I will really be eating cheaply. I eat mostly pasta, rice and vegetables anyway. So cheap fits my taste.

Just got back from Family court,, what an experience,, there was a lot of us there,, representing the Boys even two teachers showed up from school one from each of the older boys school,, the Judge was Impressed, that the boys had such a large amount of supporters,, total 9 of us had gathered in front of the judge/ the nine NOT including 2 cps workers a social worker the boys Lawyers(2), and 2 child advocates He asked us each questions, The childadvocate were the voices of the boys and they told them all the children had told them and let the jusge hear a recording of the boys, He thanked me several times for taking the boys in, and working while my health is not so good and striving each day to provide a safe healthy fun-loving environment for these boys while maintaining a structure environment with enforced rules. To hear the judge say that was like a confirmation I'm doing right right thing for the boys the right way Teachers testified there was a noticeable difference in them since coming to live with me. They look healthier was the most significant,, and they both not only smile more but Laugh more and have more friends, and getting good grades. They also said they now come to school clean and well groomed:in turn gives them a better self imagine. Cps workers Asked the judge to leave them in my care.  there will be many more court appt; I think it's every 60 days and may take up to a year,, before their mother can even think about getting them back.. It will be long and drawn out process But it's worth it!Oh and all child support payments will now come to me.

That's great, Diane! Of course, we all knew you were doing the right thing from the beginning. Glad to hear they are doing well, I know it isn't easy.
I'm at work but don't really want to be here. At least it's a short week. My step-dad goes into surgery on Thursday so I'll be at the hospital with my mom and his sisters. I went back to the GI doc because I was having some new symptoms and now I have to try to get 25-30 grams of fiber a day. It's tougher than I thought it would be but I'll figure it out. Hope everyone is doing well.

First let me say I agree with Bill--Diane, it's about time the support $$ comes to you----the kids need it for their care---I hope it helps you with that.
Cheryl---I wish you did not have the celiac problem--Otherwise I could give you a great high fiber muffin recipe that I have.
Tina: well my bed is a vast improvement on that poor excuse for a mattress that we had before---but now that I have adjusted to it, I am tossing a bit once again at night--(for about a month I just went to bed & slept solid--no movement), but now, I toss just a bit--It is still very nice to be able to adjust the firmness/softness of ones bed though, I must say---as my DD says---if you are sick & need a firm bed, there it is, then later if you are well & want a soft bed, why there it is---so all in all I guess I must say, yes I am pleased with it---actually I still cannot really believe that I actually have one---
