This has been the longest week.......

Yes, it is very hard to believe that some weeks were really only 7 days long.

and then again there are weeks that I sometimes think there are barely 4 days in-----life is sure crazy.....

Good evening everyone! I had a pretty relaxing Friday, for a change. Watched a bunch of Dexter episodes, and lazed most of the day. I did a small grocery trip then made hot dogs for the fam. I made myself the most awesome homemade pizza tonight. Looking forward to those leftovers. Tons of veggies, good pre-race fueling. This last week was mostly typical for me. They all seem to fly by these days. I'm getting pretty sleepy so I'll probably be off to bed soon.

Good Morning--I have a full day today--I need to drop off mother's day gifts--then finish my Grocery shopping for Mother's day grocery shopping. Come home & get things in order for Tomorrow & then get ready to go out to eat tonight for my MIL's B-Day.

It is a beautiful day once again (stormed very early this morning, leaving behind 1 i nch of rain)
I so wish I could get out & work in my yard--Hopefully I will have some time next week---I have a lot of garden prep work to do before I even begin to plant--but I may just reverse that order--who's to know but me??? ------

Good morning. I slept in very late and woke to a very cool morning after having 90 * temps this week. Cool is good and you can work in it. I have already been out doing some things. Much more to do though.

I woke up to a toothache this morning,, UGH! Hope these pain pills kick in soon

Sorry sorry about the toothache, Diane. Hope the meds worked. Tina, glad you had a cool morning to work in. We can't seem to warm up around here yet. Just a day or two here and there. Carol, sounds like a busy day. I don't have too much to do today. I just finished some eggs and am now drinking my tea. I've got the laundry going and plan to do some bathroom cleaning later.

Thanks Cheryl Yep the meds worked so good they knocked me out!! Good thing the Child advocate came in time to take the boys to the mall,, I didn't wake up until they came home.
Tomorrow I'm BBQing for Mother's day,, made mac salad, and got the chicken marinating for tomorrow.

yum...I could eat some BBQ chicken right now.....I'm hungry.

shopping is over rated---you go you buy food you spend about 2 X the amount yoiu thought you would be spending becauyse prices have gone up & when you get home there is still no food----I so wish we could NOT eat---

Come here & I will feed you---we could get stuff out of the pantry & make a dish up----That is if you like Tomatoes-- --I have lots of cans of them--lots---

My pantry is full of cans of tomatoes, too...
A can of salmon with diced tomatoes sounds pretty good right now.

I have no cans of tomatoes but I have a can of tomato paste for some reason, lol. Salmon is always yummy. Unless it's smoked. I should try to get some sleep. I have a very big day tomorrow and need to get up early. Not that I'll sleep well anyway, unless I take something. My brother is making me breakfast tomorrow and DH is treating me to dinner.

Good morning. I only have a couple of cans of tomatoes in my cabinets. It is a cool, damp Mother's Day outside. I guess I'll stick inside for the most part.

I have LOTS of canned tomatoes, diced, whole, sauce, paste, soup, if it were winter I could make a huge pot of Chili,, looks like I'll be making spaghetti soon instead
Gotta get going, It may be mother's day But I have 6 loads of laundry,, gotta get the BBQ going,iron and lay clothes out for the work/school week. Get daycare forms filled out,, file important papers for the boys, bake cookies for a fund raiser, then my day will be done,, sometime late evening
I swear I don't know how parents with a lot of kids can spend so much time on the computer, I want to know their secret to getting everything done around the house and still be at the keyboard

I'm still hungry.....


I've had a wonderful day. Rachel came this morning (and Jeremy and Brennan). She got me a cool new phone!
We all drove down to the farm and went through the ruins of the burned house. Found some photos that weren't burned, a few, but better than none. Gotta get one of them scanned and post it on here...me at 15 years old. I had black Converse high-tops on...imagine that!

So...they are gone now and I am wanting a nap sooo bad...no sleep at all last night.

I ran a half marathon today!! My brother made me breakfast and Aros and the kids are treating me to dinner. Happy mothers day!

I have gotten cards and calls from my kids and my oldest is on her way here with my lunch order. So my day is going pretty well too. I even got a few things done outdoors this morning.
