I am watching the weather radar, waiting for a brief break from the rain, so I can go play in the garden....

Nights are never short here...feels like they go on forever when you can't sleep.
I am so tired. Doctor gave me Ambien last week but I am afraid to take it...took it many years ago and stayed up all night doing things I don't remember.

Have a long day scheduled...back to the Social Security office this afternoon (having to jump through more hoops to keep my disability insurance...) ...and then to see my head-shrinker. ("And how does that make you feel???")

I'm a nut job....just saying...but you guys already know that.

Good morning. I forgot to set my alarm last night and that discombobulated my morning. Trying to get back on track now.

Wednesday night I could not sleep...all night. I had an appointment at the Social Security office early Thursday. I set the alarm Wednesday night but was so paranoid that I would finally fall asleep and something would go awry...so I called Rach and told her to call me before 7am to make sure I was up. I was up...holding my phone...waiting for her to call...when she called at 6:45.

Gonna have to talk to my shrink about that today....and find out "how that makes me feel"...

LOL you make life's issues fun Cindy--and Tina is right, "You are a wonderful nut job and all ours."

Tina--so sorry for your alarm not going off--try to look at the positive, you got some extra sleep right???

I did get extra sleep. And I have some extra energy too (just a little). It is still too cold to work outdoors and get much done (hanging at 50*) so I am working on my indoors. So much to catch up on. I am spring cleaning 2003, I think.

Glad that you got some extra sleep, Tina---I wish I were not so tired-----It is overcast here (thretening to rain) & it would be comfortable outdoors to do some garden work---but I am so drained that That will not happen---

It is to be 90 tomorrow so I will not be doing any yard work then either--

I have been spring cleaning too... done for today except for the drapes for my slider that I need to take down and sew again.. but want to get new hooks for it first... I think they keep breaking cause they are old....
I have Timba here today.. he is having allergy issues and didn't sleep much last night- poor kid was his birthday... 10 now- almost a teen.... LOL!
Joe is off today so he did the yard work before the wind started... wanted to spray for weeds and that got done- then he was taking apart an old shelving unit that rusted in our basement flood- bent over to far and hurt his back- so his work is done for today- took his meds so hopefully it won't last long...
The boys are spending the night tonight..Carrie and Jon are going to the Rockies game won't be over till late... so this is easier then me going over there.. then Thurs I will go over and get them off to school for them.. Jon is going to doc for his liver biopsy and scan.. hopefully they will be able to figure out his thryoid meds too and get him back on track- am proud of him- he was a soda addict and quit it ... he's lost 5 lbs in less than a week ....
Well now I need to run to store and get my fruit and veggies.... have a good afternoon all!

I was going back to rehab this morning--but I have to run errands with my MIL so Rehab i s not going to happen.

I am gaining a bif of weight back, and that is not good---so I must try to get enrolled at a closer rehab soon. I so wiosh my rehab was closer or that I had a newer car so mileage was not an issue--

She has business to take care of but then I am going to do some window shopping for my 2nd bird feeder pole--
I want to be able to use those sip & seed feeders that I showed you all a while back--that and some hanging baskets for the hummers---

DH spoke of making an arch for over my flower bed to hang things from--but I am sure that would be a long time coming-

if he brings it up again there are other places I could put such as that...

I've been to a lot of places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.
I've also never been in Cognito, either. I hear no one recognizes you there.
I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport, apparently you have to be driven there ...

People were posting pics in the coffee house and we used to go through several a day. They got deleted to conserve space. People griped about losing their pictures. So no pictures in coffee hoses. Now , Cindy cheats on occasion.

You know, I think the Coffeehouses were much more interesting when we posted pictures in them...I mean, if it's a picture that goes with a post you make it would be more interesting to see the photo. And since we don't have to delete the Coffeehouses anymore like we used to......

.....hmmm.......I don't make rules here, I just break them. But I do know the guy who makes the rules....I'm gonna ask him.

I would post a pic in the new random pic thread but I can't save a copy to my computer. DH is going to pirate me a copy tomorrow and then I can write up a new blog post with lots of pictures!

Good morning. I got right to work this morning after taking my son to school. So much to do out there. I wish I didn't need to stop and take breaks so often. But it is a place where age shows.

I'm ready for a break, too. A friend of mine I haven't seen since school (35 years ago) gave me a very nice washer and dryer and recliner for my mom. I have it loaded in my little truck now...have to wait til I get help unloading this evening...so I can either mow or take a nap...hmmm....decisions, decisions....

Aaccckkkkk...didn't take a nap...been mowing in the record high temp today.

But now "The Chair" is calling my name for a few minutes before I go unload a washer and dryer and recliner at mom's. My muscles feel like they are on fire right now.

I have been up abt that long as well---I am doing some potting for valarie this mornikng & then we are going to lunch with my BIL, SIL, who are in town, & my MIL---then this evening Rod & I are going to dinner with them all.

I spent this afternoon reaching into my pantry for canned and packaged goods for the post office food drive tomorrow. I feel like I always miss that one. I think it is a nationwide drive.
These give me a reason to update the staples in my kitchen so I don't have to throw out old foodstuff. I check the use by dates before giving and toss what doesn't pass muster. I would not have so much except I love to stockpile in case of emergencies. In mid-summer I do it again and take it to a church soup kitchen on my way to Teddy's school. And then there are the holiday drives which I buy for specifically. I think this is fun.
