HiEveryone, Just joined and hope you can help. I have found a yellow powdery substance in my flower beds.It is in different areas of the beds. It is ALWAYS under the mulch and under the top of the soil never on top. It is a goldenrod colored mostly dry mildewy substance. Does anyone what this is and how to treat it??? I would really appreciate your help. Great gardening, Michael

Are you the only gardener in your garden? Does it smell like rotten eggs? Is it mostly around your acid loving plants?

I am the only gardener. No noticable oder. It seems to be near the front of the bed that gets the most sun. Not particular to any plant. I do have a lot of Black eye susans and coneflowers.
