If the collection is mail-ordered contact the company for planting directions and the named varieties. If retail purchased can you check packaging for directions?
For Placement:
Trumpet Vine gets quite large and is a background plant. Use a heavy support to train it on. I plant mine behind the support as the
flowers come from weeping branch tips. This way the branches weep toward you and you see the blooms instead of your neighbors. Fill in the facing bare side of the support with the shorter bulbs in the collection.
Standard butterfly bush is large with drab foliage. Don't plant to near a window or door. It will block both.
How you would plant these would depend on what else is in the collection.
