Is it too late to prune a camellia in zone 9? Thanks, Tim

You prune just after blooming.you snip the tips& you can also direct growth when snipping by snipping at an angel.I wish I could get them to root.

Go for it! The only time when it is not recommended is after mid-summer; that is when the flower buds develop. But normally, you do not need to prune them much; I have not pruned in 4 years. Luis
