Well, so, here I was minding my own business not feeloing very well on Thursday night. By the early morning hours, I told Maxi I had to go to the ER -- he could stay here and I'd call him.

After just a few minutes in the ER they had it all figured out -- it was my gall bladder. My what?


So, they removed it. NOw I am at home again, resting. I think I feel much better.

But that's whyere I've been the last few days..

I just called the agency to ask if they could send someone even just for a couple of hours to give me a hand.... go to the pharmacy, help me change clothes, start supper, etc. They are calling around.



I did manage to put the coffee on all by myself, though.

And Cindy, because you ARE the Problem Child, you have gotta stay on the healthy side of the street.

Well, first let me say merme--I a m so g l ad that you are feeling better now---and Y second DO NOT over do it---heal well first then decided what needs done---

Glad they figured it out easily and got it out and you home quickly... now maybe you will feel better ..... hope they find someone to help you out too... seems like someone would like a few extra hours to do it....

I didn't make out so well at home and returned to the hospital on Monday afternoon. Now I am waiting discharge to a rehab facility so I can get some strengthening before going home. Am using the PC in the hospital hallway.... hopefully it will be easier at rehab!

Ok so things got a little out of hand up here.

When I was discharged that first Sunday after the gall sutgery which had been on Saturday and then readmitted on Monday, the doc's dx'd it as "failure to thrive".

So I was in the hosptial a week and they found a rehab for me -- the same one I had been to about 3 years ago.

So, off I went to rehab on Sunday afternoon. By Friday I knew things were not going well for me there and I got so sick I was unable to complete my regular dialysis treatment that afternoon. By the next morning they called an ambulance and I've been back in the hospital ever since...4 more days.

Now they have me all squared away and my sister in PA read the "riot act" to the rehab place, so I'm all set to go back to rehab tomorrow and will hopefully be home in a week or so.

I miss you guys.
