Hey, Just wanted to say hello.. My name is Nancy and I live in Alabama.. I am retired and have lots of free time on my hands,and gardening looks like it will be so much fun and I can learn to make my yard pretty. Have a super Monday afternoon.

Thanks y'all. I want to plant some spring bulbs but it has been so dry here, should I wait until we get some rain before planting? We tilled this past weekend and I am really wanting to get the ground ready. My zone is 8a... Oh, and another thing, I have got some Lantana in my back yard,it has lots of buds and it is spreading but I am not getting any blooms, don't know if I am over watering it or under watering or maybe it is not getting enough sun? Kinda having trouble with knowing how much water these plants need.Also got some hosta, which does not look real good, the only plants that look real good is spider, monkey grass, and one butterfly bush, had two but one died.. well,one day I will get better, I really love learning about all of these flowers and this forum is outstanding. Just reading everything here is amazing. So glad I found y'all.

Hi Nancy... I am new here too, just a few days and the members have been SO SO helpful... Great information and support !!!!
