I have a Pothos that I got at the beginning of this summer. I bought a peat moss pole for the plants vines. Will aerial roots grow into this pole even if they are brown? I pinched one off and it was green underneath

The aerial roots on a Pothos aren't as thick and fleshy as those on other plants like Philodendrons. As long as the aerial roots are green inside, they are alive. Mist them now and then to get them going and growing in to the totem.
