So sorry, Bill.
I have been struggling with my mood a bit but I am fighting it and have help from both my family and my doctor. I am feeling pretty good today, actually, and even though work was busy it didn't upset me for once. I had a little money left over after bills and bought myself a few little things. Feels good to be able to treat yourself, even if it's something small.

I read this earlier today but was at the hospital using my tablet and couldn't reply. So very hard to hear about this, Bill. Please give your sister my condolences.

Good morning. I was up a lot in the night. So I ended up turning off the alarm and sleeping in. A day of rest, I guess.

Good morning. Yesterday's mid-week rest was good for me and I am ready to go today. My son is out of school all next week so I won't need my alarm for much of anything.

No alarms sounds heavenly, Tina. The kids have three days of school next week. I am looking forward my mini vacation that starts on Thanksgiving day. I'm taking off a total of five days, even though one of those days I still have to wake up and take the kids to school, but that's alright. It's getting cold here and they're saying the S word for tonight and the morning.

We always used to only get Thurs-Fri off for Thanksgiving. A few years ago they made it the full week. I like it. It is a long haul from Labor day to Thanksgiving with only Veteran's Day off. Tiring for students and teachers and staff. They have messed with out kids' school year all around though and they are not through yet, I'm sure. Budget cuts. I am watching and waiting for the axes to fall.

I did an image search and the flowers resemble an orange jasmine a little bit. But those leaves are just all wrong. Dodge, I retired from landscape design and maintenance a couple months after John died to take care of our son full time. The only 'work' I do is to drive him to and from school for which I get reimbursed mileage.

and a good job that is, Tina. and about the reimbursement---I used to get that too, and it would have been great if I could have gotten the full amount the secretary said I was due (we got a percentage) I was due----but in the end I only got like $150.00 a year, give or take--but it always came at Christmas which was a help.

I get much more than that, Carol, for driving Teddy. But it is still cheaper for the school than sending a bus all the way out here. Also it is quicker. They could not schedule a bus trip one-way for much under an hour and a half. That would add 3 tiring hours onto his school day. It takes me a half hour to get him there or get him home. So it is a win/win. The extra cash helps towards vehicle maintenance and insurance and such.

well I am happy for you--- the first time I went into the High School office & gave her my milage, (20 miles 1 way) she got out her calculator & I was 1 happy girl when I saw the total---but then she laughed & said yea you wont get that much, that was jsut what they figured it cost me or some such---but a part of that was better than me getting nothing I guess-----I will say I got just about the same amount when I drive my kids to grade school, & that was like 3 or 4 miles one way--go figure I am glad that you get more--I am sure it does help you out. Good for you !!! I think I will be going to bed soon, so nity nite everyone---

Good morning. It feels very good to not have to listen for the alarm to wake me. I will have a wonderful week ahead of no alarms.

I tell people from 9 am to 9 pm is OK. Any other hours are only for emergencies. And I pretty much keep those hours too. I actually went back to bed for a while.

Good morning. Yep, still morning here, technically. We got a new mattress yesterday and now have dust mite covers over the mattress and the pillow. It was so nice to wake up this morning and not feel like I have a cold. I've got laundry to do today, along with running and shopping. I want to wait until this evening to do the shopping though. It gets way too crowded during the day on weekends.

Dodge....you just never know what I might say on here....keeps Bill on his toes.... Raining here, too...and supposed to rain for 2 more days and severe thunderstorms Tuesday. Sounds like good sleeping weather, if I turn my phone off.

Sorry, Cindy. That really sucks, hope you get a good nap in today. It is really cold here. Currently only 29 degrees. But, the sun is out at least. My grandpa's birthday is today and my grandparents are in town so I'm meeting them and my parents for dinner with one of the kids.

Afternoon all, Well we went shopping yesterday- wasn't to bad.. cause I spent 100+ (how easy is that) I got my turkey for .44 a lb.. so that was a good thing.. and got one last time for free for spending $125. so now I have one for dinner and one for lots of freezer meals... and 2 carcusses for lots of broth and soup! I am a happy camper... I am making some mushroom stew for dinner today.. it's really good, and warm- I am cold today for some reason... not cold outside really ..just me. Cleaning house today.. doing up laundry and mopping floor- with now boys it will stay fairly cleaned up and I can concentrate on cooking the next few days... Well off to finish up the towels and see what else needs doing... have a good day all.... Nana
